Sorry you're having issues with the game :( Can you describe what exactly happens? Are you trying to close the game and it stays running? How are you noticing the game isn't saving? (note: the game doesn't save progress during a combat, you'll go back to the beginning of the event)

Can you provide some system details for us? Is this on windows?

I noticed it does save because every time I started up the game, I had to start a new adventure every time. I only quit when in the "map".
So i deleted my Profile, and that seemed to have fixed the saving issue. I now get a continue option.

But the game still gets stuck in "running" on Steam when exiting the game.

PC:
Windows 10.
Dell XPS 9520
16GB RAM

Oh, hmm that's a really odd one with the continue! Glad you figured something out.

my game saves but oddly it does not close "completely" like the OP said, when i exit i have steam that says "running" and a .exe opened in the task manager, strange.
