FC5 Bugs - No save option, no fast travel, no mission tracking??

Within Far Cry 5 something has happened as now:

(a) I do not have the 'Save' option on the main menu anymore.

(b) I am unable to fast travel anywhere. It simply says 'Fast Travel Unavailable' whenever I hover over a location to travel towards.

(c) I am unable to track a different mission. The option for it does not appear anymore.

(d) I may not be able to progress with the story anymore. I can't confirm/deny this, but I've reached the third resistance point for John's region a few days ago and I haven't been kidnapped by him or saw a cutscene with him as that usually happens.

It may have something to do with the Spray and Pray mission which I've completed and it points to Rye's airstrip where there's nothing there??

Anyone encountered these things?

Thanks for the video. These aren't bugs that I've seen before!

Have you tried verifying your game files in Steam? This only started happening after the Spray & Pray mission was completed?

Hi,

I have indeed tried verifying files and everything comes out clean. I also tried reinstalling the game but this does not seem to go away.

I cannot say for certain that this has started to happen after the Spray & Pray mission, but it's my most likely bet since that's what the game seems to be stuck on.

I've read that starting a new game fixes these things but obviously I don't want to do that as I'm too far into the game to restart it now, and there's no guarantee that they won't come back in the new game either!

Solved it!

The issue was that I escaped the Spray & Pray mission hence it was still active and I couldn't do any of these things. I only noticed this because I was flyring around and noticed the rings to fly through around its mission area. Once I went to the beginning of the track, I was teleported back into a plane, allowing me to complete the mission and fix all of these issues!

The way I escaped the mission initially must've been when I was being hunted by John's men, and they put me to sleep right after I activated the mission which forced the cutscene but with the Spray & Pray mission still active!

I see, that makes a lot of sense. I'm glad you managed to resolve this any way. I'll pass this on to the Far Cry team to see if they can prevent this from happening to other users!
