This night Steam has "updated" all my save games to a version around 1 week old. I have lost all progress, no backups, I will have to start over again.
I suggest everyone turn off cloud sync in Steam (Library->Right clock on ATOM RPG->Properties->Updates->Enable Cloud...) just to be sure.
I was traveling between time zones during this time - but this still sucks donkey balls! Thank You, Steam!
