Sorry, but Peregon goes hostile as soon as I kill one of the goons.
To be honest I absolutely dislike the fact how an entire region goes mental when I only break a door. Honestly, why should they kill a thief? This was a weak point in the old Fallout games already (besides they "magically" knew who put a live timebomb in the inventory of someone by using the stealing UI :P).
Just wait until dark, then the cook and the 2 other guys go to sleep. You can go in the shack then. But beware, go down armed well... :-)
Nope. Did not work for me. Whether I wait outside the city or not. They are still glued to their spots. :(

You need to initialise their leaving by a dialogue option :)
