Before you play:

For the love of god, go to options, see where it says "language" leave it to english, where it says "voices" change it to Japanese. This way you will play with english subtitles but without the terrible english voice-over.

Trust me, the english voice-over is really cringe-inducing. I replayed some of the scenes with the Japanese voices and they were excellent. Now i really hate not playing the entire game as i'm assuming it was meant to be played.

Also, i would suggest you play it on easy. The controls are quite bad in this game - it's mostly about the story. I'll write a different thread on the controls though.

Try playing with the original chinese voices.

Pshhh, I've seen enough anime to know that the japanese dub is the real dub you peasant.

Nah man, ENG is the OG voice over, they just made 2 anime versions for weebs.

Sorry, i didn't know that the original was Chinese, but my point was that the Japanese i tested was far better than the English one. I haven't tested the Chinese one, but i'm pretty sure it's far better than the English one as well.

I said "assuming", i wasn't sure which dub was the original one. In any case though, my point was that the English dub was bad, at least in my opinion.

i mean the english dub is spoken by the girl playing quiet in phantom pain, but yeah, nothing better than original japanese kawaii

This is a chinese game and as far as I know the original dub was chinese. The english and japanese both came later (as far as I know).

The narration is fine in English, the voice actor did a great job. Also this is a fantastic brawler, if you struggle with it on harder difficulties it just means you were button mashing without any strategy.
