I can agree with almost all of this except the combat. Primarily it was the counter system that I don't like. It is confusing on timing with very little or no indication of when is the right time and if you fail it the game just punishes you, not to mention even if you do pull it of sometimes the game denies it to you because you aren't close enough a problem the also annoys me for doing finishers as it removes the flow from the battle having to get back in there face to hit "B" when almost all attacks move you quite a distance. In no way am I hating on this game. It looks stunning, it has great music, and it's story is fantastic especially with comedy. But in a hack and slash the most important component is flow and the awkward counter system combined with the dodge not actually being a dodge just blocks that.
