Well, this question interests me too. It's really seems to me like a hint on sequell or something similar. Especially, if considering how many questions remained without answers. Who told Reza about a comet? To whom did he write secret messages? Why he was sure that the protagonist definitely knows how to read the secret message?
Actually I have assumptions about this... but it's only my vision of all this.

Well, for those questions, personally I felt it was just Izumi trying to inform Reza so Reza would help redirect the comet, but Reza just took it as a hint to steal the generators and leave.

OR maybe Reza acted not alone? Remember, in grocery store we was find out that Reza was always bought the lemons (do you really think, that he just love homemade lemonade?) Also we knows, that Reza had only one way to communicate with humanity - the NOTES! And finally, we knows that Reza used the lemon for writing of secret message on the innocently looking note.

Yeah, Reza also had a PDA to access information like what the Earth would be like in the prehistoric era.

Yes, but he had only theories. For doing something like he did, need to be absolutely sure.

There is my assumption: After his arrival Reza started send the notes to the humanity and at some point he started to write a secret messages on this notes for someone who watch for this whole operation from the begginning, but for some resons not want to be uncovered. Then passes some time and Reza was find out that he is actually on the Earth but in the past. He started to search the clues and met Izumi. She told him about the comet and her plan. I'm just remembered: Reza didn't recognize her until the true ending when he remembered other time branches, it means that Reza and Izumi had never met, atleast in this timeline. That means, he learned about her plan and about a comet from other source. Maybe someone told him about all this, someone who knows, who Izumi is (maybe a Markus?). At this point the protagonist arrived. He don't know about all this and Reza is giving him a few hints. Meantime our "mystery someone" told the Raza to execute the plan "B": grab the generators and get out. But Reza was trying to save the protagonist, sends the secret message, meets him near the portal and everything goes head over heels...

Yeah, and this is another question about whole this time-traveling things... And what did Izumi mean when sayd "You remember only the last timelines..." How many of them we not remember, exactly? How many times they did this all?
And... who did this picture? There was someone else?

Speculating about the 'Last Timelines' and the Secret Ending

So Izumi had mentioned that she's been doing this for longer than when you start the game, she also mentioned there was timelines where she wasn't there to protect you from the falling light, but since this never happens while you're playing the chances are this happens to a different 'you' before you start the game.

I also wonder if maybe the Izumi and Reza picture could be a lead to that Izumi tried to give Reza the job which ultimately fell to you, to protecting the planet and the dragons, even getting to a point where she drags Reza to her hideout like she does to us at the beginning of a Secret Ending run, leading to the image. Maybe even pulling Reza back through the portal back to when he first arrived causing her to change his plans each time.

However Reza never manages to fulfill what she wants and Izumi ends up entrusting us and no longer deals with Reza, but her interactions with Reza are still faint in his mind which leads to Reza knowing about the comet from Izumi's previous interactions with him but maybe with the portal memory wipe completely making her unrecognisable to him.

I mean it's only a few endings where you actually do recognise her, and it's never when you first meet her either, this being the case it would be understandable that in the heat of the moment with Reza aiming his gun that he doesn't recognise The Administrator as Izumi.

It's also possible that Izumi reveals herself to Reza, without her mask and cloak potentially being another reason that Reza doesn't recognise her since she's covered in the cloak and mask.

That means Reza betrayed Izumi... but why? He's really such bad person? Or here something else? And what about this Marcus anyway? And how he is connected with all this and with Izumi? It seems that they perfectly know each other. But in conversation, she clearly lets us know that she does not know him.

It's probable that as said in certain dialogues that Reza himself does not care for the dragons, no matter how much Izumi tried to change his mind. I'm certain that one of the endings mentions how Izumi only cares for the dragons and only wants to save them while Reza only cares for humanity and only wants to save it so Reza I doubt would ever listen to Izumi on that front, but still listened to her regardless for information.

Also as seen in most endings that Reza is not against killing to make sure Humanity lives,
he simply cannot stand by the idea that the Dragons should live and Humanity die.

You are the different one to both, the one who wants to make sure that both Dragons and Humanity live.

And on account of Marcus I still don't have a good grip on what part he could play, I don't feel like I should try much speculation on him til I know a bit more.

WAIT I just found something.
Lorem's Good Ending. Also concerns Bryce's good ending.
Both you and Reza of the Lorem Good End timeline go back to your Arrival day and Izumi knocks Reza unconcious and asks for your help to drag him away and says "we've got a long night ahead of us."

This has to be the before-point where the image of Izumi and Reza are talking, but since I started a new save I don't have access to the image so I can't compare the hair colours. The Izumi who drags Reza off in Lorem's Good Ending has ginger hair.

I wonder if maybe Izumi is trying to ask Reza to not kill the dragons, and this leads to him not killing anything in Bryce's good ending, but after Izumi notices that nobody is investigating the problem she has to take the killing action instead.

Just redid Bryce's good ending and it seems to fit in with what I said before as Izumi has ginger hair in it.
