When’s The Last Time You Opened Up AWSW?
Out of curiousity “When’s the last time you opened AWSW?” Whenever you last played it, share here. Don’t be shy.

I haven’t quite introduced myself here so to start off, I’m Sparkz, a programmer, musician, guitarist, an artist, etc.

I have taken the time to learn about Ren’py and Python as i look at some parts and begin working on a Mod for AWSW and the community. But that’s who I am.

The last time I opened the game was Oct, 15th 2019 according to steam. But I mainly played the game in 2018 so that's where I got most of my hours.:awswremy:

Sorry for the late reply, steam didn't notify me for some reason. I played the game quite a bit in 2018. I got all the achievements, I got secret endings, showed the game to a few friends, etc. So eventually I pretty much did everything I could do in the game. And then later that year I discovered the mods which at first didn't work since I was on a mac at the time. But I found a work around since there was a few of the old ones on github. In August of 2018 I ended up going through a lot of unrelated stress and had a major event happen to me which ended up in me not playing any games for awhile. Eventually I uninstalled it. I'm wanting to replay it again though since it's been a while. I did play it for a few hours in october just to go through remy's endings again for some nostalgia.

The game itself Nov'18. Not a big fan of mods...
With some games I have reservations about having another playthough. Especially when characters "feel/know" about gamesaves, like in undertale. Then restarting the game feels like robbing past archievments from them and yourself...

But I played the fan-made sixth chapter by Samuespaa in March this year.

Currently I play "Winds of Change", visual novel by Tall Tails studio, written in RenPy, currently sold with 20% discount.

Thanks. It is a shame that this game is basically dead right now. It has a lot of potential and a lot of topics to discuss. Unfortunatley visual novels are a very niche games. In fact this is my first visual novel. I played Siberia 1 and 2 back in the first years of 2000 but it is already a different thing compared to visual novels.

I hope that AWSW will get famous when it will come out on consoles.

As far as i have heard they are making AWSW 2 after AWBH. But that’s all i can initially say until i get more information. They game isn't necessarily dead the discussions are just increasingly quiet amongst the community. In which I’m attempting to reissue an active discussion here by speaking up.

I’m sorry that had happened to you. Say you have a Windows PC to this year now?

I see... mods can be difficult and i can tell you have partly looking for something to satisfy your needs and wants. Except without the mods I’m presuming? Winds of Change i most likely won’t be able to afford due to everything that’s going on lately but i can tell you that there’s always going to be room to work around the problems.

Yes I have a much better pc. :spyro: I'm most likely going to do another few playthroughs of the game for my youtube. I also haven't played through some of the mods so I'll do that as well.

That is very good to hear, my friend! Mind if I ask the specs of the new PC?

Why is that ?

The reason being is that since this game is approximately 3 years old - potentially 2 years old if I am on the right track, the game still has its popularity and has marked several individuals to this day who have played the game before. This allows me to analyze others on how the game has impacted them, most of the feedback/reviews are positive to the player of the game. After time and time again people have found that having a very close connection to the game has led them this far, and has helped them choose wisely after playing the game entirely.

Glad to know it.

AWSW is a pretty game. You can see the efforts/commitments the developers put on it. I even have the ost on my phone, and I never did something like that - I always use youtube if I want to listen to some music/soundtrack -.
I love the artworks - you can see the character's emotions clearly - and the story... is interesting. Honeslty... If M.B.Saunders decided to not include dragons on the plot - Just to say. Don't kill me, please. I like dragons, too. - for any reason, I think the plot would have been interesting the same. The last city, the "No man's land" outside of it, humanity is dying, motorized groups, raiders...

[Cit. Gordon Ramsey] ♥♥♥♥. ME.

And M.B. Saunders is not a Native English speaker. Just think if He was a Native English speaker.

Every person who enjoy reading books - and likes sci-fi - should buy this game.

M. B. Saunders has committed his time into this game with his team in order to develop such. The artwork like you have stated does show clear emotions and it wouldn't have been possible if the team that he has didn't help find the artists who could perform such for the game itself. The game has led on to allow me to see the amazing ways of life and the truths to live on, to live and fulfill your dreams and goals.
