What's with the dialog choice tagged with a blood drop?

Suddenly in one of my playthroughs there was an option that had a blood drop next to it. What does this mean?

I assume this dialog option appeared during the conversation with Maverick, Sebastian, and Bryce on the location of Reza in Chapter 4. The blood drop icon indicates that the dialog option is available because you gave Anna a drop of blood in Chapter 1. This is required for Bryce's good ending in the run.
