You start in the dragon world. THe portal has been permanently dismantled and unusable. YOu are trapped forever in dragonworld. As a prologue there are minoir story and choices to determine who you now live your life with. All dragons start at their happy ending status from previous game.
Add new dragons (that were previously there), keep old dragons. (Minus anna unless something something something) Definitely have a way to revisit anna as a character....videos or recordings or even ghost or clones... Then expand the play area to the surrounding cities which were never explored. Either city comes to town and.or you go to citiy with or without your previous dragon friends.

Have relationships. Have romance. Have love scewnes. Have normal slice of life all over the place. Build the world. Don't force tragic endings on every character. Live dragon life. Actually become a dragon!
