Non-native speaker seeking help to fix "cannot import name modast" problem.
This is the error message that is popping up.

Reloading the game sadly not only fixes the problem while launching, but also makes it impossible to try out mods again. I am neither a fluent English speaker, nor am I a programmer or anything similar. Thus, an ELI5 (Explain like I'm 5) approach-style help would be greatly appreciated. I apologize for language mistakes and thank in advance to anyone reading this post and especially thank those who try to help out.

It seems you have an old version of modtools installed.
Please remove them and install these ones instead
