this helped me out quite a bit but then brings up the next issue that i am having a bit of trouble with is destroy the five drug tanks i set off the tnt but nothing happens

am i missing something?

Did you set the TNT on fire? there is also a grenade on the level you can use.

i set it ablaze and it blew up but nothing happened and i used the frag grenade and still nothing

I just drove the forklift right up to the leftmost tank and dropped it down there. I was right south of the tank. Then I used a jerrycan of fuel to put gasoline around it, made a trail from there to use as a fuse, and set it on fire with a lighter (I had already used the frag grenade and had no molotov).

It worked like a charm; the TNT blew up along with the first drug tank, then the explosions spread as a chain reaction and destroyed them all.

driving the forklift is IMPOSSIBLE

It is annoying.

But most of the steering can be avoided:
- find the grenade in the top right room
- find four oil cans in the level
- get a fifth oil can from the trunk of a police car (random)
- place the five oil cans to the left of the leftmost tank
- throw the grenade

You can destroy the tanks at any time, dont have to wait for the objectives update.
The only thing left is to pick up the explosives with the forklift, when prompted.
