i softlocked the game in 6 unique ways in not even 3 hours of playing.

the bugs from the first game are still present

one of the softlocks makes it actually impossible to beat the 2nd boss (i spent almost an hour on that stage and every time it softlocks) it doesnt matter what i do, at some point the boss walks around the couch and just gets stuck there not doing anything anymore. ALWAYS happens.

theres less characters

"missions" are able to bug and softlock aswell

the "level" system seems to make no sense as the lv 1 reward for all 4 "skills" is an item that is already unlocked. not to mention it takes forever to level these skills, you could most likely finish the entire game TWICE before reaching lv 2 on any skill

certain traps wont trigger

policemen (yeah theres 2 now not 1 anymore) have random amounts of health, sometimes throwing a bottle at them kills them, other times they walk through fire and get a bottle to the head and still keep going

policemen "wanted" level tends to bug out, making it impossible to play the game as the police will just never leave and keeps chasing you forever.



im really disappointed in the devs, the game was scheduled months ago so i thought with that big of a delay (and with a lot of feedback that i aswell as others gave on the alpha) the game would be solid. but actually its worse. it feels rushed untested and unfinished and thats really sad as party hard 1 was still enjoyable even with all its flaws and bugs.

but party hard 2 is literally unbeatable and often enough unplayable.

the only positive things to say are

camera follows you, its not so easy to get lost anymore

stages like the "train stage" and the "boss battles" add a small amount of variety. but since the 2nd boss ALWAYS softlocks its barely a good thing anymore.


overall: dont buy the game right now, its a huge waste of money in its current state and im glad i was able to refund it.
