Were the first game's issues fixed?
Ive been thinking about picking this up but I've been super unsure about it, looking back at the first game. I wrote a pretty beefy review for the first one laying out the issues.

>Totally broken line of sight that made no sense (this could be fixed with better map design)
>Random blame system that either arrested half the party or me for no reason
>Lack of gameplay mechanics (having to rely on RNG for a good trap set up)

The crafting system seems interesting to me because it might actually fix the whole RNG thing. Does it add actual gameplay depth and fix this issue or not? I felt like the first game was too random about a lot of its mechanics rather than skill based.

No, the RNG thing is definitely not fixed. Sometimes youll have only one or two boxes spawn and quite literally will be unable to complete certain optional objectives.

Crafting is on the whole a bit dissapointing. There are a few interesting combinations, but its pretty restrictive and the number of items you can actually combine is quite low.

Overall, Ive been having fun with it, but its really not a game Ill be playing for a while. Honestly I just needed a good murdery game to hold me over till HITMAN 2 comes out. I really dont feel like grinding through every single hidden objective to unlock the actually interesting and fun characters/items.
