Someone help me stop hating this game pls

Can someone either give me a detailed step by step guide on how to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ build a boat that the engine doesn't turn itself off after a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ second of being on, I've tried watching so many different "Beginners guides" on Youtube and now i'm 13 hours into this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game without a single successful boat build, and i cant find any prebuilt starter boats in the workshop to just use cause they all require technology that you don't actually start with and are way over the $15k starting cash (I'm trying to do classic mode cause that is what was recommended to me via youtubers)

do a custom world so you dont have to worry about money

If you are gonna melt down over every issue that comes your way this game is not for you. Before you quit try custom (creative) mode to learn without weird limitations.

don't do the classic mode, do the new career mode called "career", you have 20k I think and all items unlocked. I could also give you my starter boat and u could use that.

I have tried that mode and i dislike that mode due to not having third person, I've been doing creative to learn and I've successfully made an engine with modular engine parts but i tried adding it to a prebuilt hull i found and now the engine just doesn't work.

Add the custom menu to your career game. Then you can have whatever options you want.

I added this so i wouldn't have any issue with starting money and research points, I've been going with $30k and about 30 research points which is good for getting modular engines researched if i just immediately sleep until it's researched, i personally like the research idea which is another reason albeit smaller as to why i dont wanna do that mode although im still confused how 1hr 30m until research = several days of sleeping.
