Ah, so it is messed up. Haven't played in a couple years, picked IS back up today, played with the Aug, and even I was very surprised with that scope in particular. Felt nearly unplayable to me.
Your aim is off as this didn't fix anything. 14v14 lobbies are still sparse and you've still separated the PC player base which makes for never ending wait times. In all my years playing this game, I've never had to wait to get into a Push map, now I still can't get into one, yet the crossplay servers are now quick to connect. Fix it for real.
Why not just make crossplay disabled by default for Steam users? I doubt most PC players are even aware of this change, thus they're still queuing up for crossplay lobbies.
FIX ALL THE BUGS!!! THERE ARE BUGS DATING 2018 , IN PARTICULAR ON PiP SCOPES IN DIFFERENT FOV...
Like if someone is searching for a match but then finds no 14 v 14, they would join a 10 v 10. But what if there is enough pc players who want to play 14 v 14 but are already stuck in a 10 v 10 lobbies?
There is literally no solution to fix this that is not detrimental to the player or other players in an already existing match. The only solution is to up the player count to 14 v 14, by either stop supporting last gen or implement worse graphics / better optimisation
Btw this is called: Schelling point / Focal point [en.wikipedia.org] but instead of people its machines having a communication failure that cannot be fixed with more communication.
