Trailmakers
we need to talk about the DLCs
the amount of DLCs the devs are adding is insane to me. i understand that they are trying to get money from people who have already owned the game for a while, but what about new players? new players will buy the game and are missing a HUGE amount of new/old content. im surprised that not a lot of people are talking about this because it legitimately concerns me for the future of this game. just trying to get my concern out there and im hoping all of you will see where im coming from.

DLCs are needed to continue the development of the game. New players get all base game content developed over the entire lifespan of the game. DLCs are not needed to enjoy the game, and they often go on sale

i understand it, my problem isn't the state of DLCs now its the state of DLCs later. they will eventually hit a point where they have too many DLCs.

It's either that or development ends. Even if new players don't buy the DLCs, it's objectively better for them that DLCs keep being released

I think packing heat is where I draw the line because you can already make this stuff without the dlc so the only true new stuff is the flamethrower which is only useful for creating visual effects.

You can make infinite ammo air-launched torpedos and mines without dlc?
Recovering block based ammo costs you your repair token in deathmatch.

I guess I forgot about that...
