could not login?
ok i have a problem i bought this game to play with my friend but online does not work and i get this error: failed to initialize profile you need to log in to play. does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Doomslayer,

If you have a firewall running, you should ensure Trailmakers is allowed to bypass it. There's a few other steps you can try here if you're having issues connecting - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/585420/discussions/3/1693785035808780430/

You can also send your output log file to support@flashbulbgames.com which will give us a better idea of exactly why you can't log in. You can find this file here - C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Flashbulb\Trailmakers

You may need to enable viewing of hidden folders to see the AppData folder. :)

titan - In short, yes.

Networks are complicated beasts and there's numerous things that can go wrong along the process and of course everybody has different set ups, so if you are having issues the suggested steps in the linked topic will, the vast majority of the time, solve it.

What usually happens to me is that the first "login" never works but any login after that does.

What it tells me is "Login failed with error: ConnectError"

Can you both send me your output logs like I mentioned earlier? :)

Send the file to support@flashbulbgames.com which will give us a better idea of exactly why you can't log in. You can find this file here - C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Flashbulb\Trailmakers

@Cardinal - The exact same thing has been happening to my friend and I, and we have been searching all over forums on every site to find a fix, or even someone with a related problem, but to absolutely no avail, until I saw that you had the same problem. I wish there was a fix, but it's impossible to find.

I just got this but have had the game for a month I haven't done Any updates that could reset what the firewall allows im trying reseting my pc but doubt it will work

also just had this yesterday. Could not login in since then.
Over 150 hours over many months and this is the first time I've seen this.
EDIT: Updated my graphics driver and did another restart, seemed to fix this.
I don't know why.
