"Larissa's former name was Daniel. Alright, lemme just type that in..."
*couple seconds later*
"... Hmm... isn't Daniel a dude name?"
*couple seconds later*
"... Hmm... I guess Larisaa had a sex change or something."
- End of thought process.
I was not even aware of the existence of the so-called "deadname", nor that it was somehow disrespectful?
My reaction to that would be
larissa's Former name was Daniel....
And i should care why?
Guess ill holdo nto it tho incase i ever need it otherwise again, WHY SHOULD I CARE!?
Ditto. The word made it on to Wiktionary and Urban Dictionary about 3 years ago, although Wiktionary attests it to 2012.
