Trackpad issues on 2017 macbook pro

I gifted this game to my girlfriend and she's having issues as soon as Akara enters the game where the cursor no longer behaves with the trackpad. Is there a way to fix this despite the limited options menu? I really want her to play

And i don't know if Macs have mouse emulation on keyboard and if that works on laptops.

The only workaround i can think of now is taking her savegame, crafting all implants and giving that save back. Might skip first part where final implants are fixed to the part where you choose on employees' implants.

Well, or using a mouse :|

I think the issue happens before they even go into akara's memory... just as soon as she enters the club. Hope it gets fixed.

That's really weird then, try reinstalling maybe. If that(or mouse) doesn't help - then it's something new probably.

Not sure if devs really know, they're kinda silent and there are no patchnotes in news, though i remember at least once game received relatively big update :/
