Writer Jordi de Paco responds to criticism about the "third option".

For the most part, I find myself agreeing with him. I don't think games should shy away from offending or challenging people.

Although, I really wish that a lot of what was expressed through those tweets had been put into the game in the first place. The idea of having a limited view of society fits in perfectly with Donavan not being able to leave the Red Strings. Also, Akara's response to that option seemed completely out of character given how eloquent all of its other responses were.

That question could have been so much more than just "bait", but, unfortunately, none of it was written in. A shame, really.

Just because her response wasn't eloquent hardly means it was out of character.

It is very much out of character, because her answers are usually very well argued (as you would expect from an omniscient entity). But in this case, the answer feels like a desperate ad hominem attack of someone who knows she is pushing a dubious opinion, hence the need to resort to a low blow.

Therefore, completely out of character. For a being like Akara, gender equality would be irrelevant anyway.

isn't it akara's fault anyway? tweeting about SJW stuff for almost 100 years, changing nothing except to inspire some artists or musicians?
