Why Akara is stupid.
It goes without saying, but... SPOLER WARNING

  1. If Donovan tells Akara to let anything except for murder and suicide happen, and even rejects the torturer, Akara promises to do as Donovan told, but still gets Brandeis killed.
  2. It can't detect or read Gost, and then it complains that Donovan believes in magic. Alternatively, it pretends it can't, implying to Donovan Gost'd be beyond high-tech, then it complains that Donovan believes in magic.
  3. It haugtily claims that unlike humans, it can "keep up with" its brain, yet when asked by Johanna why it chose whatever implant she received, it states the exact opposite.
  4. Instead of resolving the conflict between itself and Rhadika peacefully, or alternatively eliminating her directly, it... did... all of this.

In conclusion, its love for Donovan made Akara blind, smug, jaded, and a serial murderer (ok it was one already).

Thanks for coming to my RED Talk.

Most of these are pretty easy to answer.

1. I said most of these. That's the one I'm still scratching my head on, but only because I got a very corrupted ending (which I want to share soon, since it's pretty much a game breaking glitch) when I finally said to not let murder happen.

2. GosT is not magic. They're just like Donovan, building urban legend around their character. Everything that they do can be explained through implants. Akara can't see them until they're at the door step? Either they have an implant that erase them from camera (à la Watch_Dogs), or, more likely, they know where the cameras are, and only make themselves show when they have to, so when they're at the door step. Floating object and disappearing from sight? Brandeis does the exact same thing in the CFO Office. Turn the lights red? If they can make things levitate, wouldn't be a stretch to also be able to change light color with an implant.

3. My theory is that we, the player, made the decision. We are the Chaos weaver. We know what happens. So while Akara can push around Chaos to their liking, we are the one weaving it. We can't make the impossible happen though, since we are constricted to major node points. Note that my vision of how time works is very alike from Steins;Gate.

4.They actually said why they do that. They want to play. They're a playful thing, so of course they wouldn't take the easy shortcut. Also, killing Brandeis is an easy way to see what effect this could have on Donovan.
