What I want to know is, was I as stuck as I thought I was? Had I made decisions that made it impossible to progress in the game? Restarting from the last autosave wouldn't have helped.

Specifically I needed Larissa's old name. I phoned every contact in every voice, and even spent time contemplating the quotation written on the skull incase there were clues in that.

Eventually I gave in and looked up a guide. The person who knew Larissa's old name was the lawyer. In my game, the lawyer had been killed by the torturer.

Does this mean that my decision had stranded my in the office with no way of knowing that the game had become unfinishable? Or was I missing an alternative way to get the information?
