1. 256 lvl of the Height caps is not enough, sometimes its hard to move in some islands. coz its already too high.
2. Auto-Pilot system. add new command to our Airship / Flying Tamed creature that has platform. so it can keep moving forward when we are not control it.
3. High Level Aircraft. Just like Motorboat, i think it will be nice if we have Motor aircraft or something :)
Also can we get more dinos which have ranged attacks to have a "turret mode"? Like the ice fairy or dilo.
Make all structures snap to anything:
Why make it so i can only put X on Y and Y on Z? It's dumb. Just make it like minecraft where I can place any block anywhere. It's just a weird limitation. Obviously it looks best to do things certain ways but let the players decide that.
Round down all the collision boxes:
If something takes up like 1.5 blocks, just round it down to 1. It may look a little awkward on a few things, but it makes so many more things have a lot more options. For example, I could put a wall and a sign on top of all my storage boxes, which makes them so much easier organize. Without this, the wall has to be a full block above most of them because they're like 1 pixel bigger than 2 blocks high, therefore obstructed...
Improve weapons in PVE:
I get the game has to be balanced for PVP so you can't just wreck someone else's dino, but for PVE the guns are awful. Every dino should take bonus damage to the head, AR and pistol should do like 150 damage per shot, Sniper Rifle should do around 500, and Rocket Launcher should do somewhere around 3000-5000 or even more considering how expensive the rounds are.
Sniper Scope & Scope attachment should have the same functions as spyglass (seeing Hp/Torp)
Make poison do percent of health damage
Make void manta faster and poison on hit
Make Supply Drops better by having each one give:
- at least 1 architecture master blueprint within its tier
- 1-3 resources of random quantities between 10 and 100 within its tier
- 1 item of that tier
Improve dungeon chests to function in a similar way such that the best chests will give at least 1 piece of gear of at least Journeyman rating or something. Most of the time they just give a few bullets and a barrel of oil or something...
Additions:
Higher tier drill that uses fancier fuel but mines at the speed around a steel pick, but 3x3x3
Some barrier magic that soaks up damage
Another tier of magic wand with even better spells around lv 80
Magic bullets / RPG rounds for Wind, Earth, Thunder, and Light
Higher level magic bullets that combine effects of 2 elements
A magic tool that functions like a Builder's Wand from Minecraft (places a row of the same block as you're looking at from your inventory). These are EXTREMELY handy for building. Makes the process of building a house way faster and more enjoyable.
Upgrade station for melee weapons: supports enchantments for all elements to apply elemental effects and bonus damage on every hit)
Upgrade station for saddles: improve armor, add elemental resistence or apply elemental effects on mount's attacks? or maybe let you consume magic essence to cast spells around your mount...
Magic devices like portals,
I would suggest for Skyward to reduce the respawn delay of Wyverns. They are way too much rare, it is almost impossible to collect some milk to raise baby Wyverns or collecting eggs. Actually we have to wait at least 24 hours before new wyverns spawns in their nests, this is frustrating.
Thanks !
High level airship like the motorboat variant.
Better color options for checkmark flags/maybe even an emblem system.
Kibble
Trapdoors that work.
Craftable giant doors like the giant gates but to go up top for air units(especially in the dlc) Just like ark has.
Wyvern Quality of Life changes, better spawning, etc. Maybe even adding the ice wyvern.
A better personal portal system or runebook system to create portals.
Respawning on ruins so it is not only when server restarts on the mobs in them.
Saddle skins.
Where would you suggest that go? In Steam Discussions?
More intuitive item stacking in box/creature storage, allowing players to combine stacks without moving to player inventory first.
Add the ability to toggle creature head follow movement. I've seen ALOT of players ask for this one.
More accurate crosshairs for Cobalt Energy Master (possibly other creatures with ranged attacks, haven't tested all of them). Currently crosshairs follow camera, and not actually where shots go.
Rainbow dragon movement feels very... lackluster. Speed seems slow for a creature that is mostly for collecting/riding over fighting. Also, the periodic mid-air bobbing makes collecting void more difficult than it should.
Jumping with spring boots could use a tad more forward momentum. Currently it feels like your character just stops in place when jumping. Not looking for an Olympic long jump, just a bit smoother feeling of control over the character.
Please update the DevKit when possible. The modding community would love you for it, and could bring replayability and variety to the game.
Consider adding a map seed mechanic to the game in the future. Randomly spawned maps are fun for some, but I could see individuals setting up private servers loving this feature.
Lastly, showing some more love to solo players could be extremely beneficial to increasing the overall player base. Not sure exactly how you'd go about this improvement (maybe more options for settings, increased beacon loot, etc.), or if you even willing to, but doing this would increase the ability of individuals (like streamers) to play your game how they want to. Freedom of game setup/control (in my opinion) is what keeps a game relevant long past its release. That, and it's modding community of course.
2. being able to unclaim dinos or even a button that would kill the dino that can be used from the manage dino tab would be really
