yep, bleed immune and death immune are two different things. Death immunity only protects you from attack type night abilities such as Cold Steel, it doesn't affect day abilities like Lacerate or Wolf Companion. You'll hear some players refer to death immunity as "night immunity."

Bleed immunity is it's own thing. Sorcerer's description of his immunity

Sorcerer:
Mage armor: "Immune to death at night, poison and bleeding."

Pretender:

No Allegence: Death immune at night. Upon becoming King the death immunity is lost, and you start with 0 charges of Guards!

Immune to death at night, is just attacks that happen from night actions, like attacks from knights, Cult leaders, Assasains (and has 2 notable exceptions at night, reapers using empower to bypass death immunity, and prince's executions).

While all the neutral killers have a way to survive both, Many classes have one and not the other, Physician and alchemist have bleed immunity, but are not immune to night attacks. While scorned and pretender are immune to attacks, but not to bleeding.
