Is it better to not vote?
If i vote for MVP the chance of me getting it goes down. is this a situation where its logically correct to never vote for an MVP?

You should vote for as many people as stood out. If nothing you did made a notable impact on how the game unfolded, you are most likely not getting the MVP. If you know you shaped the game majorly, then your vote isn't likely going to be enough to stop you from getting mvp.

You gave me a great idea. I'm going to pass feedback to say you can never get MVP if you dont' vote -- pass it to the next ;D or maybe you can get MVP, but you forfeit the bonus gp... but the first one makes more sense.

And the dev is right on it with a solution :) Good post OP, and good question. I'm usually delighted to give MVP to whoever I think deserves it if they did well, and if I'm salty I won't vote, or I will vote random.
