Can we skip the Unity config window at start?
Is there a way to do this via steam launch options?
If not could there be an update to allow skipping this dialog window

We *can*, but we decided against it because most people seem to like it more than hate it -- especially those with multiple monitors (you can decide if it launches on left/right monitor which is super useful and often changes each time you play).

There's no option to say "don't show this again", which would make sense, but that'd be a Unity thing.

The window can not be skipped. All unity games have it, it's part of the engine.

Nope, as i've dealt with unity engine you can not. As TryphonX says, its apart of the engine unless you get professional or business licences for the game. If they do get that then they can remove it, but to me a unity engine screen is just a ip protection scheme for unity.

Other games have annoying launch screens, but this one does not. Also the technical part of the launch screen is hard coded into the executable file. Unity would be on there A$$ if they did remove it and would either make them put it back, or charge them the full licence cost of the game. Also, this game does not have enough population to warrent a pro or business licence yet, and im sure if they did get over 10k people or more, they would consider upgrading there licence so they can remove it. I'm not one of the devs, but thats just logic i would consider as a practicioner of game design.
wait what
i used to be a unity hobbyist and i have removed the config box , its right there in package options
However, what you cant remove is the unity start screen( the one with unity logo when u start unity games), THAT needs license to be removed
and i believe they have the license, as i dont remember seeing the start screen of it( or maybe there is , and i dont remember )

Here , i just checked it, and its easily removable(by the devs)

If this is the case then i'd love if they can do this. Resolution setting etc are configuarable ingame anyway.
eh, i dont really mind the config box, just allows for quick settings change, but yes, they should disable it for end user sake

As i said, you need the "licence" to remove the splash screen. As far as i know thats it. Why would you want to remove the config screen? Its harder to hard code settings in your game rather then have a external config situation. Also no where did i mention the config screen before you get to the splash screen nor did the op. The only major worth while settings you should set in games is volume controll on or off, or on a slider bar. Microphone activation if you have that option, or a few other basic controlls.
Read ops title again

You were talking about something completely different
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
