Weird bug.
I might get ban for leaving early... but that happened.
I was starting the game... was on loading screen... selected a name... and then loading again

But then the loading screen froze... the game helper to the upper right shown with the game top menu bar, music changed

Then the screen went black, with no role, no text chat and no players list. I was in limbo... quit the game early to get out of this mess... the game crashed as I exited.

While we'd love to pay attention to all hubs, it's not humanly possible: Discord gives us instant 24/7 access to information + bot stuff + wayy more features than Steam. The forum #announcements also cross-posts to Discord #game-news

Same exact thing just happened to me. I had to bring up a terminal and xkill the game (I'm on Linux) to get it to shut down.

Gonna try to run the Vulkan version now to see if it works better.

EDIT: Selected Vulkan at launch and I got an absolute ton of screen tearing and artifacts. Didn't even try to play like that since I couldn't read the text.
