Over 2K hours in game, no longer on MAC?

I haven't played this game in over a year, but I've just discovered upon trying to get back into it, that it no longer supports Mac?

Use Wine to install the Windows version of Steam. Mac and Linux support was officially dropped due to a security patch that could not be ported outside of windows.
