Unfortunately we will need Steam user ids to verify things in the backend, and public forum posts are not well suited for such information transfer.
- I contacted Paradox and told them about the situation
- They claimed I purchased only the Deluxe Edition
- I pointed out, that I own everything from the game, without Hunt for Aurora
- They confirmed that and claimed that I purchased all that individually
- I pointed out that's not possible, because the fur coat is only part of the premium edition and the expansion pass and can not be purchased individually
- Than they send request after request for approximately 10 screenshots to confirm, what they already knew at this point, that I purchased the Premium Edition and don't own the DLC
- After that, they asked me to uninstall the game and delete all data and to reinstall it than
- I told them that I reinstalled it and everything and that this didn't change, that I don't own the dlc
- They told me to wait for the manager
- The manager pointed out that reinstalling the game obviously doesn't effect DLC ownership, as if this was my idea and asked me for another screenshot to confirm my purchase of Echoes of Silence
- I said that I don't know what that is and send another screenshot to confirm my purchase of the Premium Edition of Empire of Sin, like the first one I send them and repeated all the information I already gave
- They finally gave me the Activation key for the DLC today
Thank you so much Paradox. ^^
Did they mean Hunt for Aurora?
Man sounds like Paradox has gotten super messy since they scaled up from the good ole Hearts of iron 3, ck2, eu3 days
Sorry to hear you had a messy customer support experience! Unfortunately when investigating tickets, information can be sparse and unless it is an issue that is reported en mass, that would suggest configuration issues, people need to investigate several different solution avenues. Glad to see though that the issue has been resolved and you have access to all the content!
