vanguards
just a question do you plan on adding more hire able vanguards right now there are only 2.

With the exception of Sylvia, this appears to be somewhat random.

For example, in this playthrough (@5:44), The Cleaner, Bernie Barnes, and Eddie Callahan are also vanguards: https://youtu.be/5nHioQGHjyo?si=B4MCuF8MjfC3u307&t=344

Whereas in this playthrough (@23:19), Mae Monks, Bernie Barnes, Eddie Callahan are also vanguards: https://youtu.be/NJl89zAIbAA?si=rngvJFFpIJYmLZtc&t=1399

You have good investigation skills! Yes, there are 4 characters which can appear as vanguards with 50% chance or as their original professions with the same chance. So, you can have up to 4 additional vanguards in a playthrough.

I noticed that these had different names (The Cleaner → The Mess-Maker, Mae Monks → Marcia Monks, Bernie Barnes → Arnie Barnes, Eddie Callahan → Freddie Callahan) when they appeared as vanguards, probably as a workaround to accommodate the profession change. Given this, is it possible for the same gangster to appear twice in a given playthrough? E.g., Mae Monks as a hired gun and Marcia Monks as a vanguard both appearing in the same playthrough, Bernie Barnes as a con artist and Arnie Barnes as a vanguard both appearing in the same playthrough? I would prefer not.[i.kym-cdn.com]
