should i play re hollow fragment and lost song before this???
i have already played re hollow fragment a bit and completed philias story in the hollow world so i already know who she is, and i also somewhat know about strea being an ai thingy and have something with stress ease or something, but do i need to play the rest og the game and also start lost song and complete that before playing that game? or better said do the stories work together???

Not really.....the only thing that you'll carry over from those games is the knowledge of the characters that appeared in those games that are in Hollow Realization. Keep in mind that the SAO games follow its own timeline that's different from the light novel / anime.

Yes, correct, the timeline spiltes from the Novel/Anime at the End of the Aincrad Arc and follows it's complete own timeline. Many characters are only at the videogames and get from game to game there are more new one. So Kiritos "harem" get bigger and bigger. ;)

There's only a couple late arrival spoilers in regards to Sword Art Online and its games which you will pick up on pretty quickly if you haven't already from being on basically any SAO board

Leafa - Is Kiritos sister

Yui - Is an AI

Strea - Is an AI

Philia - Is not an AI

Seven - IRL (in the game universe) has a PhD and is not just some elite player

This is incorrect i havent beaten fragments quite yet and was awarded a sword carried over from fragments to realization. I would complete the games in order.

You dont need to play the other games, this games kinda makes sure that you learn what happend.
But i would still suggest that you try out Lost Song, it has a good story and has 99% of the game voiced (theres just One whole quest that is not voiced).
