Game not detecting my controller?
Was gifted this game earlier today by a kind SAO fan, but the game acts like I don't have a controller connected. Currently using (or rather, trying to use) a Switch Pro Controller via Bluetooth adapter. I've tried running the game from Big Picture mode, and that didn't work.

I had issues with this game for my xbox controller until i used one of the community controller configs. Maybe that might help?

I can't remember how to adjust controller configurations for games. I know it involves Big Picture mode, though.

If in big picture, navigate to game, under launch game button, go to the "Manage Game" settings. Controller options will be within that for that game.

if not in big picture mode and controller is connected, go to game's page in library. if controler is connected there will be a "controller layout" tab next to "support"

So I guess I needed to enable Xbox Configuration (since my Switch Pro Controller is being treated as an Xbox 360 controller.) Hopefully that will allow it to work.

This was indeed the problem. At least it was a simple fix.

I was not sure if that would fix it since it was a different controller but glad my experience trying to use controller on it helped you.
