paladin's level, specialization, town upgrades, title bonus, gear, skill, orb
in most cases, having more title bonuses would be enough though
i'm guessing you've got none of those?
you are right, I should provide more info.
I have mostly strength for spell power (though apparently it is better to favor crit chance/damage?)
+54 SP mace, and mostly HP and regens on other item (I dont have the SP enchant for other items yet)
I do have most other characters to level 15-20 to get the bonuses from each (now im thinking of leveling them even further, but its not that easy).
I ended up managing by using the pillars specialty instead of the fire one.
also got lucky with legendary trinket "sands of time" with -50% spell reload time.
currently in the middle of beating the last boss (takes forever, for at least I can manage by pacing myself).
you've got no spell dmg with divine so you're better off with radiance or justice
may want to take -10% dmg reduction for blessing
same for food and drinks. resistance and dmg reduction with spell cooldown and dmg
not sure where you're at with perma upgrades in town
but max out on armor and resistances + potion usage
for orbs, prioritize dmg skills, i don't use skill1, but if that's your main source of dmg,
always use fire instead of lightning
there's one with +%armor, and resistances. take them too
and there's no tactics to beating bosses. all you need are raw stats
ditch the regen stat. vit/foc is always better. if you don't have them, use sth else
what do you mean, no spell damage?
I actually managed to beat it with divine, while I failed several times with radiance.
only because pillars have better range so I can damage more plants at once (then again the -50% cooldown helped tremendously, including for healing with E, and so did mana regen)
I have most perma upgrades maxed, armor, resitances, potions, weapon damage. town to the max.
I have to say I resumed playing recently from release, and i'm really not familiar with the new orb mechanics. I stayed away from it so far.
divine's skills are weaker is what i'm saying. it's more defensive
if you're not using orbs, then that's why you're having problem beating NG+4
but i seriously doubt you're not using them. i bet you're misunderstanding what it is
there's one on every level much like shrines
they upgrade your skills for that run. it gives you 3 options to choose from
for example: Blessed Strike - Purging Flames / Blessed Strike - Wrathful Strike

sadly I died to the final boss, my mistake being too cocky. so here we go again, 4th run already being lvl 40 :D
it takes patience (at least as a paladin)
