Strange symbol I haven't seen appeared on the dungeon map - cannot interact with it

Anybody knows what this is? First time I'm seeing this, haven't found it in any guides.

It's a Lesser Pyre. Will remove preset amount of Shadow Curse based on NG+.

Thank you - I've been mostly avoiding the shadow curse, so it took me a while to realize what it has to be, because I've yet to get a chance to use them. Turns out I've been a bit too careful with it, I guess.

make sure to take advantage of the pyres if they are on a floor with those vendors that give free items with curses. basically free items if you dont already have any curses to get rid of
