I wonder about the same if any plan or roadmap is exsisting.
Game looks really good when compared to JPE2 which i own already. All these nice graphics , calm music and many feautures makes me rather eager to try this game.

There actually is a roadmap yea, and aside from some mechanics getting shuffled around they've mostly stuck to it since when it was released in 2022. They also post devlogs to the public at the end of every month, and weekly smaller logs with more juicy gossip for patreons for only 3 British Pounds.

We get monthly status updates since the beginning with the devlogs as Geeb mentioned and there is a roadmap on trello which they mostly follow (link already shared).

Also the last major update was in April 2025 (this year and not 2024 as you mentioned) when they added babies and such. The next major update is planned in August 2025 (breeding and nestbuilding) with a public beta planned this month.

So in short, there are multiple updates each year and they do have some stuff planned out.

It's up to you if you want to buy or not buy based on the information provided.
