More Bugs and Requests/Sugestions 2
Bugs

1) Teleporters are having the same issue as end volume in becoming non selectable (happened for me when I set the Cord for the 2nd set of variables)

2) From what I have tried Wall runable wall are not actually wall runable. However they dont dissapear !!! Thanks :happymeat: .

3) I think retro textures broke after the recent patch. (too scared to test it on my working retro ones) Was just an lighting issue *facepalm*....

4) When pressing control in the Creator with interfaces (such as the "upload to workshop" interface) your charater still decends/go's down.

5) Level uploading to the workshop is currently only working when you leave preview image path blank and doesnt work when I enter a path. Meaning I need to upload an image through steam however it doesnt become the tumbnail.

6) Not sure if its a bug or intented but when deleting levels that don't exist or just a blank input it still has the "Are you sure you want to permanatly delete" popup.

7) Have encountered some ghost boxes that become unselectable and you fall though them however its on the same level as a broken teleporter and was made after so that could be the cause.

8) When pressing "Next level" after completing a UGC map you can stay and contine playing with " level complete " UI taking up half your map. (and you never die) Don't think that's intended.

9) When in the creator if you spawn an item, (save or not it still happens) then load another map the most recent item you spawned now carrys over the new map you just loaded.

Requests

1) I know its still early but the abilty to see my levels on a sidebar in the level making interface when saving/loading/deleting so you dont have to remember all the names. (small QOL)

2) When missclicking (ie just left right up or down of drop boxes) things are still selected through that area of the UI leaving me constantly selecting my walls and changing them instead of my platforms if you couldn't select though that area of the UI it would be nice.

3) Alot of reviews talk about wallrunning and how they cant tell which walls you can wall run on. Perhaps there could be a more visible/distuguishable wallrunning textutre?

4) It is impossible to select any object through the death volume.. that can be frustrating and meaning I need to note down the variables for them delete them and then put them back when I'm done. Would be nice for ithere to be a different system

5) Clone button/Function would be cool for objects

Also you have got these lips/edges on your platforms in the official game is this done by adding rotated cylinders to boxes?

Will leaderboards be implemented for comunnity maps?

Thanks for reporting, very useful information again!

The majority of the bugs will be fixed in an update released today, as well as implementing request #2. I've also implemented a file check for the Workshop preview image which will tell you if the path is invalid upon submitting the update.

I'll definitely keep note of the requests too and will look to continue improving Creator by implementing QoL changes over time.

Regarding the edges on platforms in official levels, you're right, they are just cylinders added to the edges of boxes.

Oh also if you right click in multipile boxes in workshop the mouse flashes in all of the boxes you right clicked.

Also in one of my maps the I have vertical platform side ways pushing the player. I noticed this only pushes you if you are moving and if you stand still there is no colliding it only hits you if you are moving. Is this fixable or just a part of the enginet that isn't a quick fix?

Seen the patch its great thanks!!!

Btw fog still carrys over when opening on map then loading the next but its much better now!!!

I'll push out a quick patch to fix the fog, sorry about that!

In official levels I use a blueprint which automatically adds cylinder edges to boxes based on splines, it's something I am looking to add into the creator but it's not as easy as the other elements unfortunately.

Just regarding the vertical platform pushing the player, I believe that's just how the physics are handled for that specific element but I'll take a look into it.

Would be awesome to see those platforms in the future. As it is tedious to make manually.

By the way on the inertia store page it says you can make levels and "mods" through workshop are you planning on implementing workshop mod support or is it a typo?

Is it possible to have an option next to wall running to allow to make objects deadly/kill you?

This could help prevent abusing running along lights on walls and or make for an interesting new mechanic

Not a problem!

Mod support is something I am interested in adding, but I've removed it from the store page for now as it's not part of the game as of right now.

Regarding deadly objects, there's nothing implemented to make certain objects kill you at the moment, it's probably best done with death volumes for now but it could be an interesting feature to have in the future. I do plan on adding new level elements in the near future so it's something for me to think about when working on those.
