Would like to get back into the game, but this is a dealbreaker if it's still working as when I made the post. (I don't wanna download the game only to find out it's still effectively unplayable for me...)
Pretty sure the Quest 3 uses the internal movements of the controllers in conjunction with its outboard tracking cameras. Idk what the Pico 4 uses though...
Which is exactly where the collective is when I don't look straight ahead (or to the left) so... yes?
This shouldn't make too much of a difference in the helicopter, especially if you fly with the HMD TADS perpetually on lol
But yeah, overall if collectives and throttles are being hidden by your body due to POV, just try lowering your cockpit chair, that way they WONT be blocked by your leg! XD
