Release was in March 2021 and it received updates and content for more than 2 years which is the normal standard.
Now the dev studio must move on and work on new projects otherwise they won't survive.
In my book that is so much better than playing a game in early access (for example) and never be able to discover the game in its final form (even if I manage to find motivation to go back to the game after it's finished, I will not "discover" it, because I'll already know it, and that's provided the game is ever finished at all, and that I won't be already burnt out of playing that game too much when that time arrive.
Honestly, "finished" games are the best.
