legacy or regular?

I just bought the game. When I launch it, I get option to also run it as legacy version. But the 1st autoselected one, is it superior to the legacy version?

The regular version is optimized for modern computers. I’d go for that. You can try legacy if you’re having problems or are running an old computer/OS
