Not running on german windows
There is no reason at all, to disallow running the game on a german computer. There is no law against possession or playing these sort of games in germany. Distribution might be another matter, but steam already does not show the game in the store for german Steam users.
What is this nonsense?

I agree that this is nonsense. The GOG version (I bought it when I was in the UK for a few days some years ago, but I guess a VPN works to buy it there, too) works like it should.

a few years ago maybe 20 there was an option win98 you could use your clock to tell from what region you are.....so just show windows that you are from us or at and done but now after 25 years of service maybe is it not possible anymore.....a it also worked for soldiers of fortune, too

5 Years later, still the same problem! I bought it in a humble. Still doesn`t work!!
