Achievements not working?

I played a bit and unlocked some achievements, or at least it popped up on the corner of my screen. But in the game's page it says i have 0 achievements unlocked and it's on 0%.

CosmicImplosion has Bridge Constructor Portal

I've had those today (playing for the first time). Other posts suggest that they are not achievements themselves but *progress* towards an achievement. Certainly, the ones I got included text like "17/100".
