You can definitely customize them from the options menu.
You can’t use the mouse (yet) though.

How about customize gamepad key binding? I don't neet two "fire" buttons, I need to free one of them for Discord "Push-To-Talk".

I know this is an old thread, but I'm curious as well. I've hit every key on my board and I still am unable to do anything to change the bindings. Any solution to this?

This seems like a different issue from OPs. You mean you can't change the keys at all? Do you have mods installed? If so, try unsubscribing from everything first, they are causing issues with input since the last update.

Mouse shoul be a must have addition to me..for firing an setting right mosue to ability (precise shot for example) and let it pojnt and turn the character would be cool

These are the keybindings. Unfortunately, they never got around to letting us assign mouse buttons to firing etc. (I had the same feedback many years ago, they ignored it). I have played plenty of sidescrollers that allow that. Since DK:AS doesn't, I only played it with a controller/gamepad.

If you're not able to access any of this, maybe you're accidentally choosing the game editor at startup instead of DK:AS itself?

I wish we'd gotten a sequel. I don't think it's happening.

The Scramble Vice is an upcoming sidescroller that at least at times - on side missions where you jump out of your mech and fight on foot - reminds me just a tiny bit of DK:AS:
