Frogs to Frogs achievement

I know what it is, and have put hex traps like.. everywhere on the map. I get to the boss stage, sell my traps so they don't kill the boss too quickly, then wait. Still haven't gotten the achievement. What am I doing wrong? These hex traps are... not good. How do they hex? Is it random? Please help

I FINALLY DID IT! If anyone else is wondering, singularity hex trap right at the place the enemies enter, with a push trap across from it (singularity) to push the enemies towards it. Then I leveled hex trap up to 25 (i'm sitting on like 1400 gems right now). Ice trap with freeze/shatter, fire trap, and then missiles to scorch everything coming through with a lightning trap also stunning enemies. Then it was just getting lucky pushing the frogling things towards my hex trap and having it activate. Singularity helped a lot bc it hit way faster even then having like25 hex traps around the map.
