After stacking a bunch of item quantity bonuses and moving on to higher level maps I've gotten to the point where I find 60-100 items per map.

Whenever an enemy dies and drops an item then a thumbnail of the item pops up where said enemy died.

All nice and well, except the sheer amount of drops cover the entire map in pop-ups. It's hard to tell what's going on under the loot anymore and I even have trouble placing traps. Not to mention I can't watch and enjoy the carnage.

In short, they completely obscure my view:
