Let's go over the basics.
Habitat is functioning and has a species that has guests may interact in their zoopedia listing.
Habitat has a guest gate in the barrier.
Habit has sanitizer stations within said habitat.
That is all that is required for an interactive habitat.
For habitats that guests may enter we don't need the sanitizer stations and species may have guests may enter or guests may interact listed in their zoopedia entry.
inside the habitat transversable to the terrain?
And you have tried moving the guest gate slightly to ensure it is connected to the path?
So many random things seem to be occurring in PZ these days...
Just for being sure, have you verified game files lately?
No amount of setting up the perfect interactive habitat will make the non interactive animals interactive.
The in game help also states it too.
As per Animal Encounter Requirements:
1. Guest Gate
2. Hygiene Stations
3. No Dangerous Animals
4. Interactive Animals
The animals you have tried so far are not marked as Interactive, so it doesn't tick that required box. Try one of the interactive ones and see if it works then.
I was reading that the animals weren't being accepted .. *reading back in case I missed that part*. Ah that one statement .. but all the other statements are mentioning the animals not being accepted and that being the reason they are not entering.
Sometimes they do take a while to access a habitat, or if it's too far away from the nearest item of interest they may simply turn around.
But yes, if they have a path into the habitat and the animals are an 'guests can enter habitat' animal then the guests should enter if there are no other reasons they aren't.
