Yeah, I was saying that way back in the early years. I noticed a lot of players were jumping in and running through the scenarios as fast as they could. And when a new DLC came out they played that scenario before doing anything else. Every once in a while I still enjoy doing a random scenario when I am between project ideas.
But as it looks there isn't a lot going on in development these days which suggests a bigger project like that might not happen...

Like you described I play in bursts. A week where I'll go through some scenario's or make up some points to achieve in a franchise zoo. Then I get bored. Being able to make my own scenario's would fix that, but I guess it's a lot to ask for an older game. Oh well, one can dream I suppose.

Perhaps some experienced modder could cobble something together once we figure out the nuts and bolts of how they work...
Or maybe frontier would release some sort of sdk for the game when they finally stop working on it...

I practically only play this game for the scenarios. If I don't have any real goals in mind, I find it very difficult to remain fulfilled with it or to stick to what I'm building. It's a shame, really

Just think, converting some of the workshop zoos that already exist into a scenario...

I can't see a suggestion channel on here, so not sure if the devs visit here that often. It might be worth joining the official forums if you haven't and posting the suggestion on their suggestion forums there. Even if it's too late to be added to this incarnation of the game, if they do a version 2 of it, it might be something they might consider. or as grampers said some sort of sdk/api to allow modders to create things like that. I'm all for trying official modding tools for a game I like. I'd love to expand Planet Zoo, but until they add the tools officially I won't worry about it, just make suggestions on what could be added.
