Turns out the 'certain' materials like "shields, axes, swords, shoes, shields... and, etc." goes directly to the weapon/shield shops. It's easier to know which shop specializes in which material once you hit the late game phase since the shops that can be upgraded are Lvl 1s still while story shops are lvl 5s.
I was able to level up the mundo armbos fairy weapon shop by giving the fairy Cape and Staff material.
Farming material is the tricky part as letting slimes melt your armor may take a long time. So I devised a strategy just now.
Gather a ton of Pervy Juice and use one per NPC, it allows you to aquire a ton of "Crappy" quality items, allowing you to take damage/use the items and gather material. Once you have enough material, you can give them directly to the shop, there should be a prompt, you can bulk give to the shop. As the Level increases, the amount of material needed increases too.
There's no achievement required to get lvl 5 shops on all shops but it's fun to poke at your curiosity, which is what I'm doing right now.
I've just discovered a glass sword in the lvl 4 fairy weapon shop. Which is something I haven't gotten from drops yet so I can't wait to find more secret loot!
Thanks for reading x3
Note, there are special level up items
like ring material and fetish material. (any ring material) (lucktard, sukumizu's swimsuit)
-from yours truly,
Veteran Slacker
grab a pen and paper and write it down.
it usually depends on the shop owner's weapons that they sell like wettingham specializes in shoes and bows, so you give him shoes and bow material. Just like that
I haven't played the game a second 100% run yet so I don't know the exact details
Use Pervy Sludge and use 1 on a npc of your desire [See below for npc weapons/armor], then reset the map by leaving and entering the map, then constantly farm off the npc until you're satisfied with the amount of "crappy" quality weapons/armor.
Head over to First Bridge, then equip the following weapons/armor, and head over to Rockit's House and stand semi-distant from the giant rockit, in 2/3 chance the giant rockit will shoot its ooze at you that damages your weapon usage by 15, allowing your weapon to be degraded in material fast.
Take a bunch of material and sell it to the shop of your choice
Repeat the process and get Lvl 5s baby!!!
The only shop you need to level up is the Chillbrae weapon shop, it's the only shop required to be upgraded for the achievement. (lvl 3 is all you need) The rest of the shops sell items that can be dropped by monsters already. Except for Glass Sword. Which can be found in lvl 3-4 fairy weapon shop in Mundous Armas(heck idk the spelling).
