Shouldn't the game be harder on high difficulty?
So I chose the highest difficulty, cleared 3-4 dungeons I think and I already have 26th level. Can't say that I grind, just visited some of these dungeons several times in search of hidden achievements. Also there are so much items that I have to leave about half of them even when I actively use these items. I'm not that hardcore player but I like challenge. For now there is no one in the game unfortunately. Is it possible to make one more difficulty like the current hardest but with at least halved drop rate from enemies and halved experience gain?

true final boss is hard as hell lol
also the dungeons like tepid springs, sweetums hill is pretty tough later on

you can also just handicap yourself to playing without OP gear (no exp ones).

In those said dungeons, you can also find enemies that make the dungeon a little harder


Oh yeah, veteran slacker and noob slacker, the only difference is title and starting level difference I think. I don't feel a huge gap in difficulty between the two.

Well that's not good when player have to handicap himself to make the game challenging. I'd prefer to see that new difficulty. Also - with such rules a player most probably reach 50 in the middle of the game and most probably will have all needed equipment before fighting with end boss. But at least it should be first part of the game more interesting.

in my experience the game seems to be more casual fun rather than challenging

try half min hero 1 (pixel mode) if you're looking for a challenge

Anyway just another difficulty shouldln't distract anyone from the game but vice versa will attract new players. I don't know though if it will be hard to implement it. But if it won't where is no real reason not to make it.

Yep I know. But I can see that someone answers on questions who is marked as developer and since there isn't that much activity in discussions of the game I hope my message will reach developer. ^_^

I don't think the difficulty settings changes how hard the mobs hit or how much HP they have only what level you start at and how many item slots you start with, I could be wrong but I've played on "medium" and "hard" and it doesn't feel like the enemies are any stronger or weaker.
