also the dungeons like tepid springs, sweetums hill is pretty tough later on
you can also just handicap yourself to playing without OP gear (no exp ones).
In those said dungeons, you can also find enemies that make the dungeon a little harder
Oh yeah, veteran slacker and noob slacker, the only difference is title and starting level difference I think. I don't feel a huge gap in difficulty between the two.
in my experience the game seems to be more casual fun rather than challenging
try half min hero 1 (pixel mode) if you're looking for a challenge
(I'm not the dev though, but he is lurking around too it seems)
