How do you defeat the Lamia boss?
I'm stuck fighting the Lamia boss and I'm not sure what to do. Getting to her was already challenging enough (those ogres that grab you drain about 40% of my AP which is really rough), but actually fighting her is so frustrating. Whenever I get grabbed, I instantly lose all of my durability, and I'll lose around 80-100% of my health (depending on how lucky I am). The only way I can see to beat her is to just cheese the boss and attack behind her so she never grabs me, but that's really not a fun way to fight.

Am I missing something here? How did you guys beat the Lamia?
Also, I'm level 45 and playing on the hardest difficulty if that makes any difference.

My strongest tips : Level the shop at Mudus Arbos and buy glass swords.
Those are the best weapon in the game and will eradicate most foes in a short ammount of time.

You can also buy some repair kits if you don't want to buy too many glass swords.

Another strategy would be to go in Toarch Cave and kill some Banpire to Loot a Vampire sword, with it you can drain some HP to get some healing during the battle.

Also Medecine are a good treat.

Well I do have the Vampire Sword already but I run into the problem of it breaking instantly whenever I get grappled. I make sure to have it on as high durability as possible but as soon as I get grabbed I take so much damage.

I suppose you could try to play the range game by using a somthing with a range attack, like a staff, sickle, bow, etc.

Also helps to wear a helm. Makes you immune to the stun effect.
use sickles for bosses. youll do less damage per hit, but youll hit 3 times if youre poritioned correctly and do more damage than anything else can.

My Lamia strategy was extremely simple. Just don't let it grab you at all. That's pretty much its only attack, so it's hard to get forced into it, you just have to make sure not to be careless.

It'll take longer, but if you make sure to only hit it once and then run away and wait for its grab to finish before attacking again you can easily beat it without taking any damage whatsoever.
